Computer Aided Design (CAD)

CAD has been one of my specialties from early on in my design career when I studied Computer Aided Product Design BSc (Hons) at the University of Portsmouth. It has been an essential tool in many of my roles. Over time I mastered how to create models, assemblies, undertake analyses, create documentation etc… A few examples of my work are provided below.

This is the complete assembly model I made in Solidworks for the Diner’s Tree
This is an exploded view diagram of a sub assembly I made for the Diner’s Tree
This is the exploded view of a mould design assembly I created in Creo Parametric
This is the full assembly model made in Creo of my own product idea, the D-Walker
This is a screenshot of my finite elements analysis (FEA) undertaken on one of my wheel designs
This is an example of a draft analysis I performed on one of my models
Reflectivity analysis example for a metal part I designed
This a detailed technical drawing I made using Creo
This is an assembly drawing I created for my own design, the D-Walker
